HA Dermal Fillers

As we age, volume loss of our skin, fat, muscle and bones contributes to the visible signs of aging. Dermal fillers, an injectable treatment performed by a qualified cosmetic injector, can help smooth lines, replenish lost volume and restore your youthful appearance.

Contour, correct, and rejuvenate—naturally

  • ✅ Replace age-related volume loss in areas like cheeks, temples, jawline, and under-eyes

✅ Create a fuller, more youthful appearance

  • ✅ Reduce the appearance of:

    • Nasolabial folds (smile lines)

    • Marionette lines

    • Forehead creases

✅ Gives skin a smoother, firmer look

  • Contour and define:

    ✅ Lips (augmentation and shaping)

    ✅ Chin and jawline

    ✅ Nose (non-surgical rhinoplasty)

  • ✅ Non-surgical with little to no downtime

✅ Most treatments take 15–30 minutes

✅ Immediate results (with some improvements continuing over a few days)

  • ✅ Most fillers (like hyaluronic acid) are temporary and reversible

✅ Results can be adjusted or dissolved if necessary using hyaluronidase

  • ✅ Some fillers (like Sculptra® or Radiesse®) stimulate natural collagen, improving skin quality over time

  • ✅ When done by skilled nurse, results are subtle and enhance natural beauty without looking overdone.

  • ✅ Hyaluronic acid fillers mimic natural substances found in the skin.

✅ Complaint and approved products have a good safety profile when administered correctly.

🌿 HA Dermal Filler Aftercare Guide

  • Swelling, tenderness, redness, or bruising at the injection site is normal and temporary.
✓ Apply a cool compress gently (do not apply ice directly to the skin) to reduce swelling.
Avoid touching or massaging the treated area unless directed by your injector.
Stay upright for at least 4 hours post-treatment.
✓ Keep well-hydrated and avoid alcohol and salty foods to minimise swelling.

  • No makeup or skincare products on the treated area for 12 hours unless recommended.

Avoid vigorous exercise, saunas, hot showers, steam rooms, and excessive sun or heat exposure.

Avoid pressure or facial manipulation—no massages, facials, or sleeping face-down.

Do not consume alcohol, aspirin, ibuprofen, or supplements that thin the blood (e.g., fish oil, vitamin E) unless advised by your doctor.

  • Within the first 12–24 hours:
🚫 Avoid all skincare products on or near the treated area, especially active ingredients (retinoids, AHAs/BHAs, vitamin C, etc.), makeup, or even your regular moisturiser.

After 24 hours (Day 2 onward):
✅ You can gently resume basic skincare, using:

    • A mild cleanser

    • Fragrance-free moisturiser

    • Broad-spectrum SPF 30+

Avoid active ingredients (like retinol, glycolic acid, salicylic acid, vitamin C) for at least 3–5 days post-treatment—or until all redness, swelling, and sensitivity have fully subsided.

    After 5–7 days:
You may gradually reintroduce your full skincare routine, including active treatments—unless your injector advises otherwise.

  • While rare, please get in touch immediately if you experience:

    • Severe pain or increasing redness/swelling after 48 hours

    • Skin discolouration, especially a white, dusky, or mottled appearance

    • Persistent lumps, asymmetry, or hard nodules

    • Signs of allergic reaction (rash, difficulty breathing, itching)
